Marie 
In 1996 as Marie recovered from a crushed bone injury she experienced repeated infections due to a depressed immune system caused by the injury. Medications from traditional western doctors cleared each infection in turn, yet new infections occurred. As that cycle continued over several months Marie’s entire body degenerated.
Desperate to improve her health, Marie cried out for help from any source. Her cries were answered when she walked into a small café near her new employment. A flyer advertising a HEALING CIRCLE hung partially covered on a community bulletin board. Pushing aside the other announcements, Marie saw the entire heading on the flyer and read REIKI HEALING CIRCLE. HEALING. Yes, healing. She sought healing.
She attended the first available circle, which lead her to the Reiki Center of Annapolis' (MD) monthly healing clinic. Attending the next scheduled Reiki clinic, Marie felt immediate health improvements. Rapidly improving health convinced her to learn more about this powerful yet gentle healing method. She attended first-degree Traditional Usui Reiki training in March 1997.
Practicing and honing her skills, by December 2001 Marie completed her training and became a Reiki master teacher. Since that time she has taught Reiki classes in Maryland, North Carolina, New York, and Arizona both alone and in cooperation with other Reiki Masters.

- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (Due to the accident)
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (braces worn)
Marie now experiences excellent health in body, mind and spirit.
In 2000 Marie began practicing hypnosis and completed certification with the National Guild of Hypnotist in 2002. In 2003 she studied hypnosis with Dr. Brian Weiss, renowned author of Many Lives, Many Masters and other books about his extraordinary experiences using hypnosis healing in his psychiatric practice.
In 2001 she began studying with John Perkins founder of Dream Change and author of The New York Times Bestseller Confessions of an Economic Hit Man. During that training she studied with indigenous shamans from around the world. In May 2005 Marie received Dream Change foundation’s certification as an Advanced Practitioner of Shamanic Ceremonies which qualifies her as a beginner and advanced shamanic practices workshop facilitator.
In 2004 Marie began adding Gary Craig’s EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to her skill set. EFT is a very powerful and fast acting healing method that is also sometimes known as 'tapping'.
